Training values
1-
Our Mind And Body have endless potential
Maintaining certain positions and postures throughout the day, or performing repetitive tasks will force the body to adapt. This is mainly the reason behind most of the discomfort a body can experience. All we need to do is understand what is the input that will bring the body back to its optimal alignment and performance and make sure we provide enough repetition for the body to adapt to it.
I will help you understand what your body needs so you can reach your peak performance.
2-
The Body Adapts To The Input That It’s Given
By learning the foundations of how our body is designed to move, we can develop a critical approach to our movement and training.
I’ve done all the research for you! I will make sure to give you all the knowledge so you are able to decide what is best for you at any time!
3-
its not only about what we do, but how we do it
No exercise alone can force us to use certain muscles. Our brain will choose whichever neuromuscular pathway is easily available to it, in order to perform a task. This way muscular imbalances can be developed and this is usually the reason behind reoccurring injuries. Together we will train in a conscious manner focusing on what we feel working during each movement and exercise.
Save time with workouts that have the maximum effectiveness in the shortest time possible!
4-
posture matters
Our focus throughout our sessions will be to optimize posture. This is the starting point of a well-functioning body. A good posture will serve as the reference point to which we can return every time we experience physical discomfort.
With a good posture, we feel and look confident and we keep injuries and pain away.
5-
we are as strong as our weakest muscle
Together we will detect the weakest links of the kinetic chain and bring them back to their full functioning potential. Only to integrate them again in whole-body, functional movement patterns.
Together we will turn your weakest links into your greatest strengths!
6-
Its not Only about how heavy we can lift
Our workouts will improve your strength but won’t focus only on how heavy you can lift. We will always adjust the resistance according to where you are at each moment. This way we can improve the technique and ensure no compensations will take place during the process. We will put the ego aside and start observing our typically unconscious movements.
This is your key to a truly strong, well-functioning and unstoppable body!
7-
Improving our motor skills is our way out of pain
Strong isolated muscles create strong local forces that cannot be decipated through the body, This localised tension can make us prone to injury. Motor skills are compromised when all we do is isolation exercises that stimulate a singular neuromuscular pathway. When our motor skills deteriorate, localised tension and pain can develop.
By improving our motor skills we can feel and look younger for longer!
8-
A strong muscle has to be functionally integrated into a movement pattern if our aim is longevity and performance
Together, we will focus on strong form, movement with ease and coordination. We will focus on training the nervous system in a way that coordinates all units to function together in a smooth harmonic way. This way we can improve strength, balance, motor skills, proprioception and good posture.
I will show you how to move better and find your flow!
9-
There are no quick fixes or magic transformations
Overwriting the information that is imprinted in our nervous system is a long, fascinating process. All we need to do is be patient, take this process seriously and enjoy the rewards in the end!
I will help you overcome insisting injuries, chronic pain and discomfort! Among the endless information, I will help you find clarity and focus!
